Welcome From Wayne
Small Businessman Wayne Coleman won the Republican Primary for the 6thDistrict State Senate Special Election this evening.
Norfolk, VA – Today, Small Businessman Wayne Coleman won the Republican Primary for State Senate in the 6th District in a race to fill the seat being vacated by now Lt. Govenor-Elect Ralph Northam. The results show Coleman receiving more than 50% of the vote in a 3 way race against Richard Ottinger and John Coggeshall.
Coleman is grateful for the outpouring of support, but noted the real work begins now, “The results tonight are humbling and reaffirm what I’ve been hearing across the district for the last few weeks. I’m grateful for the support I’ve received in every corner of the district, but now the real work begins and it’s time for us to unite as a party to defeat Lynwood Lynwood Lewis in the general election. There is a clear contrast between my opponent and me. I’m a job creator and he is a career politician who is a part of the problem,” said Coleman.
Wayne Coleman is the C.E.O. and owner of CV International, Inc. headquartered in the portion of Norfolk that encompasses that 6th district senate seat. With over forty years of private sector experience, Wayne has successfully created jobs, balanced budgets, and competed globally.
